What Is Resolution In Radiography.
The resolution is the ability to image two separate objects and visually distinguish one from the other. There are three types of resolution.
a) Spatial resolution
b) Contrast resolution
c) Temporal resolution
a) Spatial resolution:- The spatial resolution is the ability to image small object that have high subject contrast. Such as bone soft tissue interface, a breast microcalsification. The function of spatial resolution is
– Point spread function
– Line spread function
– Edge spread function
– Modulation transfer function
