Ethics is the term applied to a health professional’s moral responsibility and the science of appropriate conduct toward other . The work of the medical professional requires strict rules of conduct. The American Society of Radiologic Technologist (ASRT) and The Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologist (CAMRT) both are developed the current code of ethics.
1) Radiologic technologist or Radiographer shall conduct themselves in a manner compatible with the dignity of their profession.
2) Radiologic technologist or Radiographer shall provide services with consideration of human dignity and the uniqueness of the patient unrestricted by consideration of sex, religion, creed, social or economic status, personal attributes or the nature of the health problem.
